Step by step

  1. Ask the developer in writing, citing the code where it applies; agree a date and a duration.
  2. Walk the handover checklist. Photograph everything that fails and the fire and safety items that pass.
  3. Issue the PDF the same day to the buyer and the site manager.
  4. Book the post-completion visit to close the items and add anything the clean and commissioning reveals.
